Watford vs Arsenal – Premier League : On the match that will close out this Saturday of Premier League’s action…
We will have a match at Vicarage Road between the local side, managed by Marco Silva, and Arsenal, managed by Arsene Wenger.
This is a match between two teams having a positive campaign so far, especially Watford.
The hosts won’t be able to count with Chalobah, Hoban, Kaboul and Prodl, while Cathcart is still doubtful;
On the side of the Gunners, Wenger won’t be able to count with Cazorla, Chambers and Mustafi and Wenger might even opt to rest some players after the international break, since they played just a few days ago.
I’ll now leave here their probable starting XI’s:
Watford: Gomes, Femenia, Mariappa, Kabasele, Holebas, Doucoure, Capoue, Cleverly, Pereyra, Richarlison, Deeney
Arsenal: Cech, Holding, Koscielny, Monreal, Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac, Iwobi, Sanchez, Lacazette
Marco Silva’s team, as it was expected, considering the quality of the Portuguese manager, is having a very interesting start to this new season,
sitting practically on the European spots and getting in the fight for the top spots on the league table, despite the team not having such a good roster, both in terms of size and quality.
The team has great balance on their goal scoring record, having 11 goals scored and 12 goals conceded at the moment. With a win here, they will overtake Arsenal on the league table.
As for Arsenal, after a less positive stage, they are coming off 4 straight matches where they haven’t lost,
which puts them on a European qualification spot and gets them closer to the top of the league table, after recovering a lot of spots on the last weeks of the Premier League.
With them possibly resting a few of their more importante units, all that’s left to know is whether that will reflect negatively on the team or not.
Watford vs Arsenal – Betting Tip and Prediction:
Considering Watford’s good campaign and despite them not being that good at home (getting 2 draws and 2 losses),
I believe they might be able to steal some points from Arsenal, which is one of the more inconsistent teams on the Premier League
I also believe this will be a match with goals, considering the goal scoring record of both teams and also some absences on the defensive line.
