Torino vs Crotone – Serie A: Finally they can breathe again.
Torino’s poor moment of form started to become scary.
The team was coming off 4 consecutive heavy losses and the threats of them leaving the first half of the league table were becoming bigger and bigger.
However, on the last round, with a surprising great performance, the team battered Cagliari as visitors by a convincing 4-0, which gave them some breathing room again.
The previous match, of course, doesn’t serve as a basis to believe that the worse, definitely, is now behind them. However, undeniably, Torino will be much more confident to try and start a new stage of affirmation on this final stretch of the Serie A.
Maintaining themselves competent defensively, believing on the home advantage as a weapon, despite having lost on their last 2 matches there, without being intimidated by the opponents they are facing, might make Torino even stronger.
Their manager Walter Mazzarri will repeat the line-up used on the great and surprising last performance.
They are trying to fight, but things haven’t been easy for them. Crotone is still not in desperate times, but there are already some symptoms of drama. The team will start off this round being on the feared relegation zone, with a 2-points disadvantage for the first team outside of it.
Crotone has suffered 2 losses on their last 5 matches. Like it was said, the team has been trying to fight, but everything they’ve done inside the pitch seems to be insufficient yet. On their last 2 matches, to make matters worse, they failed to score.
With clear defensive limitations, and with their increasing lack of confidence, with the team not being able to respond on away matches, their life won’t be easy here. Maintaining their dedication is still the way to go, despite looking very difficult for now.
Their manager Walter Zenga won’t be able to count with Adrian Stoian, Marco Capuano and Roberto Mandragora, who are suspended.
Torino vs Crotone – Betting Tip and Prediction:
In no way I imagine this being an easy match. I believe that the odds are even lower than what they should be. However, if Crotone’s complicated moment of form wasn’t enough, they will also have some of their main players absent.
Torino, having recovered their momentum after their last performance, returns home with confidence. Still having more to give, believing more, I think Torino will earn their favouritism here.
