Stoke City vs Brighton – Premier League: In one of the several matches taking place this Saturday in England, counting towards the 27th round of the Premier League
The local side Stoke City and the visiting side Brighton face off in the city of Stoke, at the Bet365 stadium, on an encounter between two teams that will meet for the 2nd occasion this season,
after their first meeting on the first half of this competition, that finished with a 2-2 draw. On the home side, Fletcher shouldn’t be available, while Sidwell and Skalak are confirmed absences.
The home side is making a campaign far from convincing their fans this season, with this being their worst season for several years (roughly since Mark Hughes had taken over the team, some years ago),
being on an intense fight to avoid relegation, but having the same points as Swansea, the first team outside the relegation zone.
After a negative period, the team was able to get 4 out of 6 possible points, but they’ve lost again on the last round.
As for Brighton, they are making a campaign that, in my opinion, can be considered positive, since they are some positions above the relegation zone.
However, the team still has a short advantage over the more direct pursuers, which might mean that they can fall to that same relegation zone at any time.
The team has one of the worst attacks of the competition and is coming off an important win over a direct rival.
Stoke City vs Brighton – Betting Tip and Prediction:
Upon a Brighton that is one of the worst teams away from home and with a Stoke that is possibly still feeling the effect of the managerial change, I believe that the hosts might win in this encounter.
