Sevilla vs Málaga – La Liga: Sevilla is clearly going through a good phase, coming into this match after a good streak of matches.
And not even their loss against Atlético de Madrid on the past round erases their good performances they have had. Their start of the season was somewhat inconsistent, with the team needing to give some time to some of their new reinforcements, like Banega, Nolito or Jesus Navas.
Sevilla is playing good football at the moment and they had an European match during the week where they hosted and have beaten the Slovenians of Maribor by 3-0 with a hat-trick from Wissam Ben Yedder scoring the 3 goals of the team who got the lead early and was able to control the match as they wished.
It wasn’t a very intense match so I expect Sevilla to be strong in this match, like they usually are.
This season things started very badly for Málaga who haven’t been able to find the winning way.
In 6 matches they have only 1 point gained and it was on their last league match, at home against Athletic Bilbao and on a very strange match.
The team was losing 1-3 and were playing with 10 men but were able, at the 81st and 84th minute, score 2 goals and tie the match when nobody expected them to be able to do it and the disappointment from their fans against the team and coach was already audible in the stands.
Málaga doesn’t have an easy schedule on the next couple of weeks and they can’t afford to choose the matches they will get points on. This trip will be tough, but it would be really nice for them to get some points in Sevilla.
Sevilla vs Málaga – Betting Tip and Prediction:
Sevilla has been playing pretty well on the past few weeks, especially at home, where they have shown their usual football.
Dynamic, very involving and with a lot of offensive moves, thanks to their above average players in terms of quality.
This Sevilla is clearly better, they are confident and I don’t see Málaga being a threat.
It’s certain that they are coming into this match after an unexpected draw, because of the way it happened, but I don’t believe that it was the turning point this Málaga team needed.
Because they still have a lot of weaknesses and flaws, especially defensively and I don’t think they will be able to get a result in Sevilla, because, as we all know, Sevilla is one of the best teams in La Liga, especially when they play at home.
Where they are heavily supported by their fans and play with a very attacking style. I think Sevilla wins this match.
