PSG vs Marseille: In one of this Coupe de Frances’ quarter-finals
The local side PSG and the visiting side Marseille face off in the city of Paris, at the Parc des Princes.
In what will be the third meeting between these two sides, who have already met twice in Ligue 1, with one of those matches ending on a 3-0 win for the Parisians and the other ending with a 2-2 draw in Marseille.
The home side is making a positive campaign in general, doing well domestically, taking large steps towards success both in the league and on the domestic cups.
Although things didn’t go as well for them on the 1st leg of the Champions League’s tie with Real Madrid.
The team is still coming off a good streak of results domestically, with the only stain being their loss in Madrid 2 weeks ago, on a match where the team has played well but couldn’t take advantage of the opportunities presented.
As for the visitors, they are making a very positive campaign as well, both domestically and in Europe, at least so far, with the team still being able to dream about conquering the Coupe de France, but only in case they are able to win on an extremely tough ground such as the Parc des Princes.
The team is coming off a mini-crisis of results, having 2 losses on their last 2 matches, which interrupted their excellent streak of results, the best one of the season and certainly one of the best ones of the decade, given the poor moment of form that the team was on.
PSG vs Marseille – Betting Tip and Prediction:
With this being a cup match, a knockout tie, and with the absence of several of PSG’s key players, I believe this might be a closer match and Marseille will probably have a higher chance of winning.
This way, I expect a closer match without many goal scoring chances.
