Leicester hosts Brighton & Hove Albion in the 2nd matchday of the Premier League at the King Power Stadium.
The league couldn’t have had a more electrifying start for Leicester. The team played brilliantly against Arsenal at the Emirates, in a match with several twists & turns, but they ended up losing 4-3 and started their season with a loss.
But we need to acknowledge their good performance.
They crumbled at the end, but they showed quality football. Furthermore, the team has maintained their core, which took them to the Premier League title 2 years ago.
And they added some interesting signings such as Iheanacho from Manchester City and Harry Maguire from Hull City.
Last season, despite not being able to defend their title, Leicester continued to be strong at home, finishing with 10 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses, while scoring 31 goals and conceding 25.

Leicester vs Brighton & Hove Albion – Pick:
Brighton & Hove Albion have returned to English football’s elite and they fulfilled their dream to return to the Premier League.
But they bumped into this new competitive level really soon, in their 1st match already, and they felt how difficult it is for a promoted team to be able to compete in one of the best and more balanced leagues in the world.
On their debut, Brighton faced one of the title favourites: Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, and were beat 2-0, despite playing at home.
Despite the loss they got against Arsenal, I got a positive impression of Leicester in their debut.
The team has a really strong squad, especially on the attacking third, with players like Vardy, Slimani, Mahrez and some others.
Playing at home, I believe the Foxes will have enough power to overcome Brighton, who will still need to adapt to this new competitive level.
