One of the most promising stars of English football has been standing out in Germany playing for Borussia Dortmund, but his near future might be a return to England, such is the competition that’s expected to happen for the young 20-year old winger this summer…
MANCHESTER UNITED MIGHT GO BEYOND THE 100 MILLION EUROS
The Red Devils seem to be even more focused on returning to the spotlight of English and European football, and after having ensured the services of Bruno Fernandes that joined other promising elements such as Fred, Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford, the truth is that the arrival of Jadon Sancho could put the side led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on an even higher level.
According to the British press, the team from Manchester seems to be on track to ensure the services of one of the most promising players in world football, but it is predicted that they will have to spend more than 100 million euros to convince Borussia Dortmund to let him go.
The player who played on Manchester City youth teams, but then left to Germany still during his youth by less than 10 million Euros is currently valued at 130 million euros and he might be worth a fortune for the German club, similarly to Erling Haaland.
At a stage where the competitions are still stopped, the richer clubs aren’t exactly worried about paying their wages, unlike other clubs that are struggling a bit more and therefore they are actually looking into the transfer window and potential important reinforcements.
JADON SANCHO HAS BEEN OFF THE CHARTS IN THE BUNDESLIGA
The young English attacker is a certainty in world football, because besides having appeared on the spotlight during last season, he has been consolidating and even improving his performance this season, confirming he is a valuable asset and a worthy investment.
Sancho scored 13 goals and made other 13 assists on every competition during the 2018/19 season – on a total of 43 matches, but this season, his numbers improved substantially with the English player scoring 17 goals and creating 19 assists in only 35 official matches.

That means that Sancho will be on the scarce set of players capable of contributing on average with at least 1 goal or assist on each 90 minutes and that is truly exceptional, elevating him to the level of players such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.
Because of all of these reasons, and considering his young age that suggests continued development, Jadon Sancho is currently one of the most desired players in the footballing world and he will naturally make the jump to an even bigger club within the next couple of months or years.
COMPETITION IN ENGLAND IS FIERCE
But don’t be fooled, Manchester United isn’t alone on this race for the most exciting English player at the moment.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are also eyeing the player and clearly willing to invest strongly on his services. According to “Metro” newspaper, Chelsea will be even willing to surpass the 100 million euros as well as Manchester United, which means Borussia Dortmund has a potentially fantastic deal in hands.
The German club continues to give lessons of talent development every season and after having sold Ousmane Dembélé, Shinji Kagawa or Christian Pulisic by high amounts, they are preparing for another 2 great sales in the next couple of months.
Haaland might leave for 70 or 80 million Euros after signing for Dortmund by only 20 million Euros in January, and now Sancho might be worth more than 100 million Euros on this true bidding war with the English clubs.

Jadon Sancho arrived in Germany coming from the Citizens’ youth academy by about 8 million Euros and he might now be worth 15 times more after already having strongly contributed towards the success of the club during two seasons.
Borussia Dortmund is a great example of good financial management and human resources, constantly signing young players from top tier clubs, to then sell them back to the biggest European leagues for astronomical amounts.
The side now led by Lucien Favre hasn’t been keeping up with Bayern München in terms of domestic titles for the past couple of seasons, but they continue being an example of good management, showing that a good scouting team might make miracles for the financial situation of a club. Maybe that’s an example that the millionaires Man City or Barcelona should be influenced by.
