Dortmund vs Hamburger – Bundesliga: In one of the many matches being played this Saturday in Germany, counting towards the 22nd round of the Bundesliga
The local side Dortmund and the visiting side Hamburger face off in the city of Dortmund, at the Signal Iduna Park,
on a match between two teams that will meet for the 2nd time this season, after the first encounter on the first half of the season, where Dortmund won 0-3.
The local side is making a campaign well below what was expected, being on an extremely competitive fight for the top spots of the league table (except the first place),
with the team having gone through a terrible period on the season, that led to the dismissal of their manager Peter Bosz from the coaching job.
With the arrival of Peter Stoger, things have improved a bit, but the team is still not convincing,
and they keep getting insufficient results when compared to the ones the were getting in previous seasons, namely with Thomas Tuchel or on their golden years with Jurgen Klopp.
As for the visiting side, they are maintaining their terrible quality in terms of performances and results that they have had for the last couple of years, with this period seeming to be endless, and probably resulting,
in my opinion, on their relegation from the top tier of German football, something that would be historical since they were never relegated.
The team is winless for more than 2 months, and things don’t seem to be improving, even after the arrival of their new manager, such is the lack of winning culture present at the club at the moment.
Dortmund vs Hamburger – Betting Tip and Prediction:
With the attacking style of the hosts and against an Hamburger in terrible state (although Dortmund hasn’t been much better), I believe this will be a match with goals,
and with the defences doing worse than the attacks, which leads me to imagine this will be an encounter with goals.
