Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics – NBA : MThe Cavs, after seeing themselves 2-0 down
Decided to turn up the power and show that they are still a force to be reckoned with.
The truth is that Game 3’s are must-win games when the teams are down 0-2 (LeBron is now 9-0 on those games) and besides that, a loss would practically mean their “goodbye” to the NBA finals;
Taking into consideration that the record of the teams that are down 0-3 is 0-131, something that is curious, because I thought there had been already 1 team capable of defying the odds and comeback to a 4-3, but that hasn’t happened yet.
They played brilliantly on Game 3, controlling since the beginning, and never breaking down.
The team had 30 free throws, hit 50% of their 3-PT shots and has won 11 more rebounds than their opponents, forcing the Celtics to 15 turnovers. LeBron did great with Korver, Love and Hill helping out.
The Boston Celtics have a 100% victories record on home games in the play-offs and the truth is that, even if they lose this game
if they are able to then maintain that percentage, they will reach the finals and face either the Rockets or the Warriors.
Furthermore, this Celtics’ team seems tailored to play at home, since they have lost all road games except for 1 against the 76ers (which means, they’ve lost 3 against the Bucks and 1 against the Sixers).
The team had an awful game on Saturday. They shot poorly and missed very easy shots, even some “lay-ups” near the basket, and James also blocked some important ones.
Tatum was the best player of the team with 18 points, while Rozier had 13 and Brown and Monroe scored 10.
The one that disappointed me the most was Horford that has been, in my opinion, the 2nd best in the East on the post-season (behind LBJ) and Marcus Morris.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics – Betting Tip and Prediction:
Once again, the Cavaliers can show their strong side and take this to a game 5 in Boston.
However, I don’t believe that the Celtics will be asleep once again. With Monroe being more present, I believe this will be a closer game and I will go on Boston’s spread.
