Asian Handicap consists of the following:
Imagine there’s a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Your sportsbook gives you the chance to bet on Real Madrid (+0,5 Asian Handicap).
This means that Real Madrid already has the advantage of half a goal, so if you place this bet and the match finishes 0-0,1-1 or any other draw, the bet is won.
If Real Madrid wins, the bet is also a winner. The only result that makes your bet lose is a Barcelona win.
Then we have Draw no Bet which can also be called Asian Handicap (0).
For example: Barcelona – Real Madrid. If we bet on Real Madrid AH (0), the bet is won if they win, we get the money back if the game ends in a draw and we lose the bet if Real Madrid loses the match.
Finally we still have more Asian Handicaps, ones which can be divided in two. For example the -0,25 AH and the -0,75AH.
For example > Barcelona – Real Madrid. If you place a bet on Barcelona(-0,25AH), half your money is on Barcelona (0 AH) and the other half is on Barcelona (-0,5 AH).
If you place a 50€ bet on Barcelona (-0,25AH) you basically have:
25€ on Barcelona (0 AH)
25€ on Barcelona (-0,5AH)
If Barcelona wins the match, you win both bets. If the game ends in a draw you lose the 25€ from Barcelona (-0,5AH) and you get the money back from the other one.
If Barcelona loses, you lose both bets.
